AI in Retail: Beyond The Hype and Into Reality for Store Operations.
The term "AI" is often thrown around, but what does it really mean?
Team meetings are a great way to build morale, start off the week and get your team pumped.
Working closely with stores, we’ve seen that the best Store Managers all tend to structure these weekly kick-offs in similar ways – here are some of their tips and tricks to run effective and engaging team meetings. And if you’d like a set agenda – we’ve included one of those too.
No one wants to start the week off with a straight walk into shop talk. Lighten the mood and ask everyone how they’re doing.
Call out the successes of last week and who achieved them. It’s always great to give recognition to those who deserve it.
The way you review is essential. Don’t just focus on the topline comp – that’s the obvious part. Make sure you also spend time on the specific tactics your team took to improve performance last week, and what it actually achieved.
For example, did your plan to change the replenishment schedule of one of your products actually boost sales?
Get input from the team on why you may or may not have achieved the goals you set out for yourself.
What are the 3 things you are going to do to knock it out of the park this week? Log them down so you can come back and visit them next week.
Remind everyone of the collective ‘we’ goals as a team. This gets you all driving towards the purpose and ambition you share to be successful.
