In an age of digital revolution, why is management still analog?

The core components of management – business goals, teams, actions and data – are disconnected, making data-driven performance improvement a major challenge. This has been exacerbated in recent months by the increase in remote management and the heightened need for businesses to be more agile than ever.

Three key issues result from management fragmentation:

1. Lack of alignment between the business goals and the actions being taken by team members.
2. Lack of visibility into the actions team members are taking and the impact these actions are having on business performance.
3. Difficulty coaching, motivating and recognising team members based on their actions and impact.
